The ODA Advisory (ODAA) Board in Ted Coupe, Gail Ransley and Ron Thomsen, visited the Cessnock Cottage of Spirit of Giving, and met with key representatives, Helen and Robert Dyball. ODAA is delighted to be able to provide financial support to Spirit of Giving’s outreach service, especially to help with a new laundry and equipment, to assist the disadvantaged, homeless and people suffering domestic violence in the Cessnock and Hunter Valley region.
The ODAA Advisors provide their time and expertise pro bono to address corporate advisory mandates obtained by ODAA and with little overheads can provide donations to charities in need.
Rob and Helen Dyball, said “We are extremely blessed for the donation from ODA Advisory for help with this new laundry and equipment, and shower facility. This will enable us to support our clients, which is currently missing, for the homeless and forgotten members of our community. The outreach service is anticipating to assist three to four clients a day with their personal laundry and hygiene requirements.
Ted Coupe, Director of ODAA, said “Consistent with the philanthropic purpose of ODAA, our Advisors are most pleased to see that the donation will help many in need in a time of cost of living difficulties.”
Ron Thomsen, Managing Director of ODAA stated “This donation is aligned to our commitment to support four charities this year. ODAA relies on continuing corporate advisory tendering success to assist these charities but you can make your own direct donations to any of these charities if you feel these organisations mission is appropriate to you. Please see our previous media release on the ODAA supported charities.
